It's officially turkey time! A little turkey Thursday... and a little throwback of pics. Leave for the first turkey trip of the year tomorrow to Nebraska with my buddy Swede ... meeting up with buddies Bill and Paul. We kill some turkeys, have fun ... I'll be cooking up annual fish fry with Paul. Best way to cap off a trip.
Oops,🙄 Is that the next new forward-facing sonar?🤔
The ice looks a little blue, I’ve always been leery of ice that color late in the season, I’m glad everyone is okay!
When I lived in Lake Geneva, they had a winter festival. About 15 trucks parked on the ice on the lake, very close together. It didn't end up too well for them as well. I wonder what their insurance company has to say?
A crowded net is one of those problems we like... sadly too rare ... but it is a good problem. Love to see muskies hanging out with plenty of room. Great mesh with a built-in cradle keeps em healthy. A good net with tangle-free mesh is an important release tool.
The chase isn't too far off now. Oh If you haven't had a chance to check out the new upload on channel- on the biggest muskies on earth.
In ALL my years I never had a double, close but never happened………yet🤞🏼🤞🏼
Getting a proper net was one of the best tools I've gotten for fishing. So much better for the fish and easier on the fisherman as well. Proper tools makes a world of difference.
Speak for yourself. The chase is on down here😆! Not much natural spawning. If I see a tore up fish I'll wait-a-bit not to stress them. Otherwise it's on. It'll be too warm down here before we know it! GL!!!!
The good folks at Latulippe provided me with a French replacement for my pink hat ... blends in so nice with my mop can hardly tell it's on. Shot too - explaining Livingston EBS to staff.
🤣 I wish somebody did for me. I went and bought a few titans to try on the northern pike dive and rise bite on Kabatogma. I fished with it for a couple hours. Hung it on my dash and then proceeded to search the boat for 20 minutes twice for this soft mystery sound I kept hearing🤣
Sad you had not the pink hat 🐙
Thanks for all the musky tips btw!🦈
I got my new hot color in the Headhunter for the coming season - thanks to Nicolas Simard, who painted this up for me last night ... 'skis haven't seen one like this.
Lure testing in unique conditions; may have been the earliest ever. Final prototype of the Big Makk. Passed.

That is a sweet color 🤘🏼
That color looks like it would be great for Round Lake
I’m no expert but I’d suggest some hooks too 😂
